Funeral for Cleo Powell Frazier, 92 of Falkville, will be Fri., Feb. 6, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Debbie Williams officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Fri., Feb. 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Frazier died Wed., Feb. 4, 2015, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born June 14, 1922, in Morgan County to John Byrd Powell and Mary Etta Hill Powell. She was an LPN and worked many years at Hartselle Hospital. She was a member of Hartselle First Baptist Church and later at Salem United Methodist Church. Mrs. Frazier was a member of Eastern Star and Bethel Road Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Frazier; four brothers, George W. Powell, F.J. “Frank” Powell, John Byrd Powell, Jr., and Virgil Powell; and two sisters, Mary Lee Mitchell (Oscar) and Eunice Ruth Ryan (James).

She is survived by a son, Charles Rodney Frazier (Helen); a daughter, Brenda Frazier Taylor (Curtis); a sisters, Betty Jewel Vest, (Felix); five grandchildren, Sheena Coley (Burton), Charles Anthony “Andy” Frazier, Elizabeth Bree Taylor-Dever (Martin), Katherine Dare Selvidge (Jordan), and Cherokee Finney; and three great-grandchildren, Marissa Ellen Coley, Jack McClendon Coley and Luke Taylor Selvidge.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be sent to Salem United Methodist Church at 3018 Barkley Bridge Road, Hartselle, AL 35640 or to the Presbyterian Home for Children, at P.O. Box 577, Talladega, AL 35161-9975.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
