Funeral for Roy “Sonny” Howard, 75, of Huntsville was Mon., Jan. 26, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rob Peavy officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Mr. Howard died Sat., Jan. 24, 2015. He was born Sept. 2, 1939, in Morgan County to Clyde Howard and Riendy Hartselle Howard. He was preceded in death by his parents and two children, Cindy Howard and Tony Howard.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Howard of Huntsville; a son, Timothy Howard of New Market; a daughter, Darlene Neece of Meridianville; a sister, Lois Vest of Hartselle; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
