2014 Letters to Santa

Dear Santa,

My family’s Christmas traditions aren’t as fancy as you would probably think. We put the Christmas tree up around Thanksgiving. We put Christmas lights up, the wreaths, stockings, mini Christmas trees in our bedrooms, and a lot of Frosty the Snowman figures. We have a Christmas Countdown chalkboard that twe hang up, and count the days till Christmas. If it snows, we always play in the snow and make snowcream, which is delicious. On Christmas  morning when we all wake up, we run in the living room and open the presents. Sometimes we cook turkey or chicken, deviled eggs, and some more. I told you it wasn’t as fancy as you might think.

Yours Truely,

Madison Thompson

Dear Santa,

A families have traditions for Christmas, and most are different. For Christmas my family is always busy. We are gone for Christmas Eve, Christmas, and the day after. One Christmas Eve I get to open one present before. On Christmas day we go and visit with family, same with the day after. Some people don’t get anything for Christmas. Some have a poor family, so they can’t afford gifts for Christmas. This year We are buying presents for a kid that doesn’t get anything for Christmas. Normally for Christmas we eat a lot. Since we go to all of my Grandparents’ houses We might eat too much.

Sincerely,

Connor Moore

Dear Santa,

My family’s tradition is like everyone elses almost. We decorate the tree of course. Sometimes my elf finishes the tree decorating. A week before Christmas I make cookies. The night before Christmas Eve, we go around the neiborhood looking at the light’s that are up. Some years we go to diffrent neiborhood’s to. I wander how fun this year is. On Christmas Eve and morning we open presents.

Sincerly,

Andraya Driver

Dear Santa,

My family has a great tradition. My brother and I wake up my parents because We want to open our presents! We play with our gifts then we go to my grandparents on my dads side and we open our gifts from them and give our gifts to my family. Next  we go to my great grandparents to eat breakfast. I usually end up going to 75 diffrent lunches and getting bunches of presents.

Sincerely

Mikenzie Chumley

Dear Santa,

I have been a little good and I’ll mention my family’s tradition. On Christmas Eve the parents give the kids presents. The parents play dirty santa together. The kids have picked out kids names so they could by them a presents. Us kids play dirty santa sometimes. Every Christmas Eve my grandmother and granddaddy come down and get us some presents from Pingeon Forge. We eat food too. It’s just like thanksgiving with lots of presents.

Sincerely,

Ryan Jones

Dear Santa,

The best gift that my family has ever given was a flat screen tv. My grandmother had a tv on the floor of her apartment, so we gave her a better tv. We put it behind the tree so it will be the last thing under the tree. When she unwrapped the gift she bursted out in tears. She was so happy she started to cry. That is the best gift that my family has ever given.

From,

Gaelin Pleasant

Dear Santa,

This is Mason and my family’s Christmas traditions are going to my grandparents house on Christmas eve and bulging on the most delightful food. Then after we have prayer to God and eat we gather around the Christmas tree and hand out gifts to every one then we open all of our presents. And that’s why this is my favorite tradition ever.

Sincerely,

Mason Cox

Dear Santa,

My only wish for Christmas is a cure for MS. My mom has MS, here name is Cheryl Vaughn. Someday’s she can’t even talk for a day. Her legs start to hurt sometimes. I’m scared when she’s walking cause I never do now when her legs will give out on her.

My mom has to go to the doctor every month to get shots for all I know. The doctors haven’t had a cure for it, but she is getting better. So Santa do you mind and give a cure for MS.

Sincerely,

Dylan Vaughn

Dear Santa,

I want to tell you about my family’s Christmas Traditions. When it turns December my parents cover our house in dazzling Christmas lights. My grandmother and mother start baking tasty mouth watering treats. On Christmas eve my extended family gathers at my fathers mothers house for a wonderful feast. When we are done we sit down in the living room and open our presents and stockings and the adults play secret Santa while the kids play with their new toys.

Sincerely,

Connor Haley

Dear Santa,

Hello, how are you? Since I already know what you do on Christmas, ride around in a sleigh and deliver presents, let me tell you what I do with my family. The three main things that I enjoy are going to my grandparents, staying with my family, and our big meal.

My first thing that I enjoy is going to my grandparents on Christmas Eve. My parents, brothers, aunt and her friend, grandparents, and I, are all down at their house. We all get their early and eat breakfast, then we eat our lunch. After we eat our lunch, we open our presents. So, every year I always hand out the presents to everyone. I like spending time with my family though. My family always goes gome with lots of presents.

Secondly, is the Christmas at our house. I go to bed late, then wake up early in the morning. I wake up and sit on the steps until my parents come get us. My parents won’t let us come down though until both of my brothers get up. My oldest brother always gets a shower in the mornings. So, I have to wait on him. Boy, he takes long showers! When he does get out we go and open our presents.

Last, is our meals. We always thank God for our food and our family. Our meal is like having two Thanksgivings all in one year. My family really knows how to cook. Well thank you for listening, and don’t gain too much weight eating cookies and milk.

Love, Mary Beth Gentle

Dear Santa,

My familys Christmas tradition is every year on Christmas Eve my Dads side and my step moms side all come to my house for a big dinner. Then after everyone gets done eating we all open one gift from everyone. After we get done with the gifts and after everyone leaves I go to my moms house for Christmas Eve. My moms side all comes to her house and eats food such as cake, dressing, cornbread and pie stuff like that. Then we open gifts and i get to spend the night with her and go home in the morning.

When I get home Christmas morning my family gets there at about 11:00 AM. We put the foods out family brought on the table. After we eat we get to the gifts giving them to your family then we open them. We all leave with a bunch of presents. and sometimes if we got the main thing we ask for my dad would put it in 7 different boxes inside a box the size of a car. Then he would wrap the all up. Then we would open it. That my familys Christmas tradition.

Sincerly,

Brandi Pitt

Dear Santa,

Every body has traditions on Christmas. I mean you have to have traditions. Anyway one of my families Traditions are haveing two trees up. One for crazy ornaments. Another one of our traditions is to have a big dinner on Christmas eve. We have the same food every year and it is Amazing Another tradition is on Christmas day is we open our presents oldest to younges and I’m the younges so I’m not very happy with that one. Those were some of the Traditions that my family has. Thank you for your Time

Sincerely,

Gigi Lunsford

Dear Santa,

The best Christmas traditions my family has are always exciting. On Christmas Eve my family goes to my Grandmother’s house. We open presents from them, and when we have big presents we have scavenger hunts and find them.

Then just my family open our Christmas presents that morning on Christmas Eve. On Christmas day we wake up early to see what all you have got us. We always do our stockings first since there the littlest presents. Then after we have opened our presents, Dad give Mom her presents. Another Tradition we have is our Elf On The Shelf. He does a lot of things around the house. He will pour sugar on the table and makes snow angels. Sometimes he will toilet paper the tree, he does more but those are my favorite so far!

Sincerly,

Regan Wood

Dear Santa,

I am going to tell you about my family Christmas traditions. After Thanksgiving Day we always put our Christmas tree up and our stockings. We also put up our big train around the tree.

We even have some lights we put on the bushes, a big angel that goes in our front yard garden and a huge, sparkly star that hangs on the window.

On Christmas Eve everyone in my family gets to open one present. I always pick the biggest one! Then in the morning on Christmas Day we have to wait until everyone is up and ready then we all sit together and we all go one at a time and look in our stockings. After that we each open one presents at a time. I just can’t wait for Christmas.

Sincerly,

Ashley Dolbeer

Dear Santa,

My family has a few great traditions that I look forward to each year. Every Christmas morning, me and my brothers search for a pickle ornament. Whoever finds it first gets to open the first presents and wins a big hug from Mom. Also, on Christmas Eve, we each open presents that contain the PJ’s we wear that night. Every year I go to Nana’s house and make Pumpkin Role for you.

Merry Christmas,

Gabriele Jackson

Dear Santa,

I love my family’s Christmas tradition we do every year. We always put up our tree right after thanksgiving. Then we always go to my grandmothers house to eat and open presents. On Christmas morning me and my brother each have our own section of presents to open. Last of all, we all know it’s not about what get, it’s about spending time with your family and laughing and having a good time.

Sincerely,

Eric

Dear Santa,

My family has an amazing Christmas tradition that has been going on for as long as I can remember. Every year, my brother and I go over to my great aunt’s house next door. We help her set up and decorate her tree. My brother used to help, and I joined in when I was about 4 or 5. We use many different ornaments, including ones from other countries. For the past few years, my brother has put a Christmas tree ornament with his picture on it from first grade on the very top. My favorite ornaments are probably all of the Auburn ones. I hope this tradition lasts for many more years!

Sincerely,

Olivia Patterson

Dear Santa,

What I want for Christmas beyond just a present is for my whole family to get together for Christmas. For Christmas I wake up open my presents then we go to my Aunt’s house. Not all my family is there, because they live too far, or it is my real dad which can’t hang out with my mommy. I love my Mom, but I want to have Christmas with everybody.

Yours Truly, Jemna Smith

Dear Santa,

The best gift me and my grandmother ever gave was to my mom. It was two weeks before Christmas and I was looking for a necklaces. I looked for a while then I found it. a small black and silver panda. I was so great because my moms favorite animal is a panda. Me and my grandmother had a great idea we went back in the sun room and found some boxes. We wrapped every box littles to biggest then we took all the boxes and placed them inside each other. Then on Christmas morning I gave my mom the gift. She was so happy. So that is the best gift I ever gave.

Your’s truly, Elijah Kellick

Dear Santa,

My Christmas wish is beyond a present. This year we moved to alabama from a little town in massachussetts. I really miss everyone there. My wish for christmas is to see my best friend and my dad side of the family. Me and my Best friend are so close. Thats all I want for christmas

Sincerly, Jenna Kessler

Dear Santa,

My Christmas wish beyond just a present would have to be Would Peace.

I would want World Peace so everyone can get along, there would be no wars, countries would get along. Everything would be peaceful, and everyone could sleep comfortably in their beds without having to think about being bullied, politics, how staff is going to feel when you cut them. Everyone would understand another person’s reason for doing something. No one would argue. Everyone would love each other, and Forgive and Forget. I truly wish for World Peace for Christmas!

Yours Truly, Natalie Jensen

Dear Santa,

The best present I ever given was some of my shoes because this kid shoes didn’t have any shoe lace so the next day I saw I gave him some of my shoes. When I gave him the shoes he said thank you and then I said your welcome then after he said that we started to talk to each other and then we had became friends. One time we went to my house and he needed something to because he was starving and I gave him some food to eat and then he was full. But I wasn’t supezting any thing but he gave something that I always wanted and we were friends for ever and ever.

your friend, Tevin,

Dear Santa,

My family has wonderful Christmas traditions because all of my family gets together. I myself have atleast two Christmas dinners. That is because my parents are divorced but it does not bother me. It just means more family for me to love. The reason I think my family has wonderful  Christmas traditions is because everyone is happy that we are together and that we have food to eat for dinner.

Yours truly,

Delaney Emmons

Dear Santa,

The best gift me or my family have every given is….. a Chevy Cobalt it was for my older sister. She had just turned fourteen, and needed a car to learn to drive. I think it was the best gift, because when she saw it in the garage, her eyes light up, and started jumping up and down. She also was screaming at the top of her lungs. After she snapped back into reality she hugged Mom and Dad, and repeatedly said, “thank you.” Now because of that gift she has transitioned into a very good driver.

yours truly,

John Looney

Dear Santa,

My wish beyond a present is very important to me. I wish that everyone would have an amazing Christmas like I and many others have the blessing of enjoying. I wish that the homeless and less fortunite would get the gift of just being with family and friends on the beautiful date, December 25. I also hope that everyone remembers one of the most important and touching part of Christmas. The tingling that goes through your body and puts the biggest smile on your face. The joy of giving the perfect gift to an person you may not even know. It make and I know others the happiest person alive. Santa, I hope you read this letter. It came from the bottom of my heart and wish it touched you too.

From, Brody, Hartselle, AL

Dear Santa,

Sometimes during Christmas we go to my Grandmother’s house. My family and I don’t go over there just for presents. We go to eat, and take a moment to remember my Grandpa. He would have turned 87 that day. He served his country by fighting in World War II. After we’d leave the gravesite we’d carry on back to my Grandmas. Plus, we would look at some of his values. He’d have 2 platinum coins, and a piece of an Alabama Football field signed by THE Bear Bryant.

Yours Truly, Jadon Kilpatric

Dear Santa,

Do you know the song All I Whant for Christmas is my Two front Teeth? Well I already have my two front teeth so I think I will do something different! All I want for Christmas is a dog (or a puppy) because I really miss mine. This is what happened when I was little I went to the pound and got my first dog. Alot of years later she died. When I heard my Nanna got one and if she couldn’t have her (she was allergect) I could have her. I get her so sum it up. A few years later we were moving to Albama (we lived in Georgia) we had to give her away. So I really want a puppy now we are settled I was hopeing we could change the song? All I Want for Christmas is a Puppy of a dog Please!

Sincerally, Gabrielle McGuire

Dear Santa,

For Christmas I like to get presents but the most thing of all is giving them. My best gift was to my mom. I gave her a coffee mug that said #1 MOM on it. I gave it to her because she is very hard working and always wants to get me something for Christmas. When I gave it to her, her whole face lit up in joy. That is the best gift I have ever gave my mom.

Yours truly, Madison Garner

Dear Santa,

My wish for Christmas beyond just a present is to let my cousin come home from the Hospital. When my mom told me my cousin wasnt going to be home for Thanksgiving and Christmas I started to cry a little because Thanksgiving and Christmas was going to be different without him. I miss him so much.

I don’t really know why I used all of my money to buy that book for him, but I love my nefew so much, that I rather get him what he wants and run out of money than spend if for myself. My most favorite family members are my mom, my dad, my brothers and my nefew.
