2014 Letters to Santa

Dear Santa,

My wish for Christmas is to help the poor and homeless. I want them to have a nice warm house to celebrate Cristmas in. I also want to go to the animal shelters to feed the dogs and cats.

I want them to have a wonderful Cristmas. My family and I would give food and water to them. We would also give the gift that our family recived. Like socks, shoes, and clothes. All I want to do is make a difference in their lives.

Your Friend,

Trent Wright

Dear Santa,

I know you are very assidous at the North Pole constructing all those astonishing toys. I was curious if you could do me a miniscule favor? Please keep reading because I’m begining to acquaint you with my minisule problem.

Well Santa, in preferance I would love to help give to others for Christmas. One time someone told me that its better to give than receive. That saying is very accurate because it brings you delection to behold someone be so delighted to even have a simper by you. I would like for you to administer people clothes, shoes, food or anything they’re hearts desire for my Christmas. I would really love for you to make this their finest Christmas yet to come. I love you so much Santa thank you for everything you do.

Sincerly,

Madison Hargett

Dear Santa,

My family’s Chrismas traditions starts on December 20th. We go up to Elkmont to play “Dirty Santa” and open some gifts. I see my cousins from Nashville and one from Texas.

On Christmas Eve we go to my Nana’s house and open tons of presents. We eat mexican food that my aunt makes. We have to hurry home because Santa is on his way.

We wake up and I run to the Christmas tree. My mom and dad get their Ipad to take photos and play music. First, my dogs open their presents. Me and my brother open our presents and get ready for my other grandparents. After, opening more gifts at my Gran’s We head home for a good night sleep.

Sincerly,

Seb

Dear Santa,

I want a present for my friend, and spend time with him. He would be happy with anything.

Your frind,

Ivan

Dear Santa,

The best Christmas gift I got was clothes, boots, a jacket, playdoo, and toys. I was so happy on Christmas eve because my family and I would do parties and stay up unil midnight. And open our present and go around the apartment and tell everybody Merry Christmas.

Another reason I love Christmas very much is is of the snow. I love the snow because I can go outside and play with my siblings and friends. It is very fun to make snow angles, snowmans, and the best thing ever in the whole world a snow ball fight. I love snowball fight because when we chose teams I would be the one gathering snow and make them into snowball. This is all of the thing that made my Christmas the best one.

Love, Junita

Dear Santa,

I love Christmas! It is my favorite time of year. Everyone is happy and loving to one another! Since everyone gets presents, my family and I like to give to people that are less fortunate. Every year my family and I put together boxes for the Operation Christmas boxes. We pick three boxes (one for each of us kids). We usually choose for the box to go to a child around my age. These boxes go to the less fortunate in other countries. All around the world, kids in different countries are struggling to even afford a toothbrush. We usually go to Walmart or the Dollar Tree, and get toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and little trinkets for them to play with. We also love receiving an email about Christmas Day telling us where our box has been delivered. It is fun imagining a child opening our boxes.

Christmas is fun getting presents, but even better giving!

Sincerly,

Emilee Boster

Dear Santa,

Every year, for Christmas, my whole dad’s side of the family gather on Christmas Eve Early in the year, we draw names to see who gets who a present. First, we go to my great grandfathers house, we all call him Bigpaw. There, whoever drew your name, gives you your gift! Usually the kids all get a few more little gifts as well. It’s always so much fun to see the joy on their face when they open the gift you got them! The best part about that, has to be getting to see my Bigpaw!

After dinner and gifts with Bigpaw, we go to my Mawmaw’s house for more gifts! It’s mostly just my grandparents’ kids and their kids. We all have our own stocking, and me and my little cousin, Emily, love seeing what we got together! Then, we open gifts from our grandparents and family! I’m always so thankful for the gifts I get! Next, me, my mom, and my dad go to my mom’s side of the family, my Nona and Papaw. We go to their house and talk about what we got, and then we go to sleep! After opening presents, we all have Christmas dinner!

I have only major wish from you this year. I would like to wish that my whole family stays safe and happy! Especially my Uncle Jesse and his Wonderful Wife and daughter! Please be sure to send them wonderful surprises!

Love, Carly Holladay

Dear Santa,

Every year everyone has a huge Christmas list, and most kids get what’s on their list. This year for Christmas, I want children who don’t have a good Christmas to have one. My Christmas wish this year is to help the kids who don’t get what most kids do. I want everyone to wake up, and look forward to the excitement of Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. The smile you get when you put the milk and cookies out for Santa, and decorate the Christmas tree. the amount of excitement on Christmas morning that you can’t sleep. That’s what I want every kid on Christmas to feel. Kids who don’t get what we do, don’t have anything to look forward to on Christmas. They don’t have excitement about Christmas, they just look as it is another day.

Every year what I ask for, I get. What about the kids who get nothing? When it snows, they don’t get to play in it because they don’t have proper jackets. It would melt anyone’s heart to put a smile on their faces, and know put it there. So this year for Christmas, I wanna make a kid smile.

Love, Jordan Pepper

Dear Santa,

Every Christmas my family and I wake up early on Christmas morning. My brother is always first to the gifts. By the time everyone else manages to get the downstairs there is a tornado of red ribbons and Santa wrapping paper covering the floor. I usally am next to open the gifts. I open mine slowly and neatly, because unlike my brother I know if I got paper everywhere I would be on Christmas cleaning duty.

After we finish unwrapping gifts, we go to Grandma’s house. We eat tons of food and then open more presents from all of our cousins, Aunts, and Uncles. I helpmy Grandma make dessert while everyone is unwrapping things. My job is to stop my sneaky little cousins from Stealing all the cake’s and pies. I fail every year, mostly because I sneak some myself.

After everyone eats and my cousins get their cake, we all go home. Then finally, after a long day of gifts and cake, we drink hot chocolate by the fireplace. My brother stays up all night with his toys, but I am always first to go to bed.

Dear Santa,

Many traditions happen in each and every household, well mine are really unique. On about December 15 my family adopts an angel. We always try to get whatever kid we can, because we aren’t super picky. When we go buy what they need we usually aren’t real cheap because they need it more than we do.

The most unique one I think is we have something about three days before Christmas called Grinchmas. On Grinchmas my family makes all the food that the people from Whoville make. We also have green punch and it tastes really good. After we eat is my favorite part the movie The Grinch Stole Christmas.

On Christmas Eve we make double chocolate chip cookies and milk in a glass with sprinkles on the rim. We also make the coolest reindeer food ever. It is made with oatmeal that is not been cooked and a bunch of glitter. We also make pictures and hang them all around the house for Santa.

Finally on Christmas morning I am the first up everytime at 6:00. When I finally wake my family we quickly see what me and my sister got! There is toys and more toys everywhere. That afternoon I go to my dad’s house to see my presents and have Christmas dinner. After telling you those I’m pretty sure you know now my family has many unique Christmases.

Love, Allie Anders

Dear Santa Clause,

This is not one of your normal letters asking for present after present. I have one main Christmas wish I really want my dad home for Christmas. No, he is not that big of a deal to others, but he is my whole world. I barely get to see him, and when I do he has to leave before I wake up in the mornings. I think this is his wish to.

I bet you have a lot more things to do like get the sleigh ready, deliver presents, and make toys for all the good girls and boys. But, if you have time, please give me one Christmas miracle.

Sincerly,

Jada Tennyson

Dear Santa,

This letter is about my best moment of giving at Christmas. I was in the 3rd grade at F.E. Burleson Elementary School. I was selling pancake tickets and sold the second largest number in the school. For coming in second place, I won a $50 Walmart giftcard.

After my mom picked me up from school, I heard a commercial on the radio about collecting bikes to give to children in need for Christmas. Later on, I told my mom that I wanted to buy a bike for one of those children with my giftcard. My dad and I went to Walmart to buy a bike. We bought a bright pink girl’s bike.

After we bought the bike, we realized we missed the deadline for the radio commercial. I was very upset that I didn’t get the bike delivered in time. My mom’s friend, Courtney, found out that the courthouse was also collecting bikes for children in need. My dad and I delivered the bike to the courthouse. I hope it made a little girl very happy.

Sincerely,

Mackenzie Guthrie

Dear Santa,

Last Christmas, me and my family adopted an angel off the angel tree. We adopted a young girl who loved Barbies and needed clothes. After looking at all the toys we could buy her, we decided on a big Barbie dollhouse. Then, me and my little sister, Allison, each picked out a Barbie doll for her. After buying her a few more games and things to play with, we bought her some clothes and shoes. This Christmas, we’ve already adopted two angels off the tree. We got a 5 and 10 year old girl, who are sisters. So far, we’ve bought each of them a bike and some clothes. We plan to buy them a rainbow loom and a pair of shoes. I hope next year we can adopt another angel off the tree.

Dear Santa,

The best gift that my family has ever given to somebody was to my grandmother. We got her a black lab puppy. My whole family was there, even my cousins that live far away. Almost the only thing we did that day was play with her. We also took turns holding her. After a while, everyone wanted to know what her name was going to be. My grandparents almost named her Minnie, but eventually named her Lady. Lady grew up and everyone still loves her Justas much as they did the first day we got her. One of my sister’s favorite things to do is take her to the vet and play with her. Everyone knows and loves Lady very much.

Sincerely,

Grace Braddock

Dear Santa,

Every year my family always tries to do something nice for another family. Last year, we made Christmas dinner for all of the people that get free meals everyday. On Christmas, the workers don’t bring them food, so we decided to volunteer. We all met at a church and got a list of all of the places we were going to drop off food. When we took it to other peoples’ houses, they were so thankful that they got food, and it makes you happy too.

Since about 3 years ago, our family has been helping another family. Their parents are in trouble so their uncle took them. There are three of them. Our family gives their uncle jobs, and that is how he pays for their food. Mostly, my mom buys them clothes. This year, I can help buy food for them for Christmas. I hoe they have the best Christmas possible.

Your friend,

Johnston Murphy

Dear Santa,

My family has a lot of traditions. One of them is inviting a lot of my cousins over and they all bring food. We eat and talk. All of the kids go downstairs and play on our pool table and our ping pong table. We have a lot of fun down there. We also play in the tree house. I have to make sure that they don’t fall when they walk up the steps. Christmas is always fun for all of us.

Another tradition we do at Christmas is when we say that we’re going to put our Christmas trees up right after Thanksgiving, but we never do. We put six trees up. I always decorate mine different. One year, I put these cool butterflies on it, and I had colorful lights that I also put on it. I have a mini tree that I put big and shiny earrings and rings on. Every Christmas is always fun for my family.

Sincerely,

Emma Ballew

Dear Santa,

The movie, “The Christmas Story” plays at on my Nana’s TV 24/7. Trust me, they say it never gets old, but it does. 2005, it was good but from 2006 to 2013, it has been boring. So, one year we decided to give the biggest fan of the movie a gift associated with the movie. Yep, the classic leg lamp.

While we went to go get the gift, the anxiety grew. As we hand my great-uncle the box with the fragile mark on the side in bold lettering, all eyes lit up in excitement as the leg lamp was pulled out of its box and presented to my great-uncle. The look on his face was priceless. That was the best gift my family and I have ever given.

Love, Elliott Johnson

Dear Santa,

I love this time of the year. Where lights are outside of houses and snow falls in the cold weather. And the time we give presents and also spending time with family. This season is Christmas. And for this Christmas, it doesn’t really matter for me if you bring me presents, but my wish is that everyone in the world will have a joyful Christmas.

I want every person in this plant to have a happy, awesome and exciting Christmas. That people who don’t have food, get a plate of food to fill up their stomachs, or for homeless people to find shelter to keep them warm and cozy. And also for kids who can’t get presents, let them get a present hat will make them happy forever. This is my wish, for everyone to have a joyful, happy and wonderful Christmas.

Sincerely,

Bryan Munoz

Dear Santa,

My wish for Christmas is for every kid to receive a gift this Christmas. I would love to see the look on their faces when they see their presents because not everyone is fortunate enough to get multiple or even one present for Christmas, so I would like to ask for every child that’s less fortunate to have a wonderful Christmas.

My other wish is for everyone to have warmth this winter. I am aware that many people are homeless and have no shelter and I want to ask for them to get warmth as it gets colder this winter. I understand this might be a lot to ask for, but it is something I would love to see happen.

Love, Katelyn Taylor

Dear Santa,

I want a present bigger than a device, stuffed animals and a doll. I want world peace. These are some examples: stealing, fights and war. You always give me the perfect gifts but this year, I want mostly to stop. I want you to give to the orphan and the needy more presents than you give us with a home. I wish for the orphans to get a home this Christmas. And give a pet a home that doesn’t have one. I want al of my Christmas presents to go to an orphan or the needy. I already have my present, it is my mom, dad, 2 sisters and brother. I have a home, food, clothes and a great big family. I almost forgot that the most important person is Jesus. I hope the boys and girls that don’t have a home, get one this Christmas

(unsigned letter)

Dear Santa,

My family on my dad’s side, our tradition is to go deer hunting Christmas morning and evening to see if we can get deer meat for our meals but if we don’t, the ladies of the family go out and look for all kinds of food and dessert. Once we get the food, we pray and then eat. After that, we open presents unless we are being greedy, if we are, they make us wait.

One my mom’s side, we don’t hunt, we open presents when we wake up and then we prepare lunch for our whole family to eat. We open presents when everybody’s done eating, then we play with our presents or go outside and play while the adults talk about politics or something like that and then we say our goodbyes and gather our presents and go home.

Sincerely,

Luke Fitzgerald
