Funeral for Kendall Murphree, 21, of Northport will be Thur., Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Preston Headrick officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thur., Dec. 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Miss Murphree died on Sun., Dec. 7, 2014, at her residence. She was born Oct. 26, 1993, in Ft. Smith, Ark. to Charles Leroy Murphree, Jr. and Lisa Ann Graham Murphree. She was a full time student. She was preceded in death by a sister, Kelsey Murphree.

She is survived by her parents, Charles Leroy “Chet” Murphree, Jr. and Lisa Ann Graham Murphree, Northport; a sister, Carly Murphree of Northport; grandparents, Richard and Ann Hensley of Decatur, Sam and Doyle Graham of Moulton and Charles and Sue Murphree of Decatur; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved very much.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Newsome, Joe Darnell, David Shaw, Joey Aycock, Steve Lawler, and B.J. Bailey.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Steven Cooper, Tim Gann, Ray Cooper, Jimmy Ray Hawkins, Robert Gann and Jeff Halcomb.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army “Soup Kitchen” 1601 University Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404
