Funeral for James C. Crowe, 84, of Hartselle was Mon., Nov. 3, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Gunter officiating.

Burial was in Moss Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Crowe died Fri., Oct. 31, 2014, at his residence. He was born July 20, 1930, in Morgan County to O. Cecil Crowe and Evelyn Harvel Crowe. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of over 53 years, Millie Ruth Pike Crowe. He was a loving husband and father that will be truly missed. He was an active member of First Church of God in Hartselle for more than 63 years. Mr. Crowe retired with 43 years of service from Sonoco where he served in a number of management positions.

He is survived by two sons, Jerry Crowe and Lamar Crowe (Shelia), both of Hartselle; his grandchildren, James William Crowe, Chad Hunter Young, Rachael Alisha Crowe, Neal Thompson and Craig Lawrence; great-grandchildren, Stewart Jaxson Lawrence, John William (Jace) Crowe, Whitten Elie Lawrence, Brysen Reed Thompson, Macelyn Grace Thompson and Mercedes Brooklynn (Sadie) Hale; and a host of nieces nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
