Danville sweeps Hartselle on senior night

Class 4A No. 4 Danville swept Class 6A No. 8 Hartselle 25-23, 25-13 to spoil the Lady Tigers (27-17, 5-0) on senior night.

The Lady Hawks (36-9) were led by Sydni Shelton with 13 kills and was one of six servers to score an ace. Charlee Anderson had 19 assists, 3 kills, 8 digs and an ace.

Kellee Stiles and Jada Harris had 3 kills each with Harris adding a pair of blocks and Stiles scoring an ace.

Morgan Weatherwax added 7 digs and an ace. Courtney Watts and Regan Burcham had the other aces.

In the loss to Danville, Megan Zuck had 5 kills, 6 digs and an ace, Bailey Powell had 3 kills, 7 digs and an ace.

Jordan Finn added 2 kills and 2 blocks while Gabrielle Bili had 8 assists and 3 digs. Kayla Key had a kill and 2 blocks. Jordan Barbrey collected 5 assists, an ace and a dig.

Katy Beth Bole had 3 blocks and a dig. Claire Forsythe got 3 blocks and a kill and Catherine Bodley and Hannah Warren each had a dig.
