New Center Baptist to sponsor golf tourney

Oftentimes, we may find someone we know – or ourselves – who is in a place where there is no hope.

We even think about giving up on people or the situation because we feel that a change is not possible. In Romans, 15:4 we find, “for whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”

We must read and study our Bible daily to increase our trust that God’s will is best for us. God can change what seems impossible, giving new life and hope.

Christian love and sympathy is extended to the families and friends of Dee Proctor, Opal Bridges, Hobson Ward and Robbie Coffey.

Sally Cheatham and Kody Vest remembered Kenneth (K.V.) Vest who was born Sept. 26, 1959, by placing the beautiful flowers on the communion table of New Center Baptist Church Sun., Sept. 27, in his memory.
