Funeral for Charles “Randy” Nipper, 52, of Decatur was  Wed., Sept. 17, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Freeman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Bell Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Nipper died Mon., Sept. 15, 2014, at his residence. He was born Nov. 17, 1961, in Birmingham to Herman and Ramona Nipper. He was preceded in death by his father. He loved Alabama football and NASCAR. He was a wonderful friend.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Nipper; a daughter, Crystal Clingerman (Thomas) of Madison; a stepson, Clay Gardner (Dana) of Jasper; a stepdaughter, Miranda Davis (Tim) of Carbon Hill; his mother, Ramona Nipper of Roanoke; three sisters, Vicky Edwards (Mike) of Auburn, Cindy McDonald (Jay) of Illinois and Roxanne Whitehead (Dane) of Moody; five grandchildren, Kayla, Weston, Walker, Brylee and Aubree; and a host of nieces and nephews.
