Funeral for Tom Wunch, 63, of Falkville was Fri., Sept. 5, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Ridling officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Herring Cemetery.

Mr. Wunch died Tues., Sept. 2, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Aug. 4, 1951, in Mobile County to Lee Albert Wunch and Bobbie Nell Welch Wunch. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Hartselle and an employee of the Morgan County Engineering Department. He enjoyed working on cars and hunting in his spare time. His parents preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Vinson Wunch of Falkville; a son, Tommy Wunch (Corey) of Hartselle; a daughter, Geanni Wunch Miller (George Hudgins) of Eva; five sisters, Sue Wells of Columbiana, Sarah Bookwalters of Illinois, Becky Kay of South Carolina, Barbara Moore of Parrish and Terry Skidmore of Kentucky; six grandchildren, Justin, Brittany, Stephen, Douglas, Nathaniel and Olivia.

Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews.
