Church Calendar for Sept. 10

Sonrise Baptist Church, 1410 Thompson Rd., Hartselle, will be having a free outreach supper, singing and devotion, Sat., Sept. 13, at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome!


Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Mt. Zion Road, Hartselle, invites everyone to Revival “Growing in faith together.” Leading our revival will be Rev. Tim Keenum. Sun., Sept. 14, 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Mon., Sept. 15, through Wed., Sept. 17, at 7 p.m.


Rock Spring Baptist Church, 525 Rock Spring Rd., Hartselle will have a Harvest Carnival Sat., Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Carnival games, hotdogs, chips, popcorn and drinks will be provided. Good Shepherd, 3809 Spring Ave. SW in Decatur, will have its second annual market on the church’s front lawn with area farmers and artisans each Monday through Oct. 27 from 2 to 6 p.m. There will be entertainment and kids activities.


First Independent Methodist Church in Decatur will have a men’s Bible study each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Hal at the annex building. Bring cans for the can trailer every Sunday or Wednesday. Proceeds go toward youth camp.


Cave Springs Baptist Church, located at 187 Cave Springs Road, with Pastor Jason Moore, welcomes you to Sunday school at 9 a.m., morning worship at 10 a.m. discipleship training and AWANA (babies through eighth grade) at 5 p.m. with worship beginning at 6 p.m. On Wednesday, Bible study begins at 6:30 p.m. along with GAs and RAs.

Piney Grove Christian Church hosts services each Sunday at 10 a.m. for Sunday school, preaching at 11 a.m., night service at 6 p.m. and each Wednesday for Bible study at 6 p.m.


Liberty Baptist Church, 1206 Lane Road NW, holds services each Sunday with Bible study at 9:45 a.m., Bible preaching at 11 a.m., discipleship training at 5:30 p.m. and Bible preaching at 6 p.m.
