Funeral for Fred Rylant, Jr., 69, of Danville was Thurs., Dec. 5, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Presnell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.

Mr. Rylant died Tue., Dec. 3, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born August 10, 1944, in Morgan County to Fred Rylant, Sr. and Sadie Francis King Rylant. He was formerly employed by Classic Panel as the plant manager. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Rylant of Danville; two sons, Rodney Rylant and wife Angie of Hartselle and Patrick Rylant, of Birmingham; three daughters Peggy Rylant and Missy Hutto and husband Jeff, both of Danville and Carrie LeMieux Andre of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Betty Holbert of Decatur and Judy Cook and husband Larry of Athens; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Chris Cook, Jackie Holbert, Mike Holbert, Josh Barbee, Mike Berryhill and Jeremy Eddy.
