PHS principal takes pie in face

PES Principal Cherie Humphries, left, takes a pie in the face from fifth grader Loryn Miller during a student assembly on Friday, after PTO president John Meares ducked away. Humphries challenged her students to meet a $12,000 goal by agreeing to take a pie in the face if they succeeded. The students met their goal and Loryn got the honor of throwing the pie by out-selling all of her schoolmates.

Loryn Miller, a fifth grader at Pricevllle Elementary School, receives an iPad from Principal Cherie Humphries as the first place individual winner in a Boosterthon Fun Run fundraiser for the schools. She sold $1.050 in pledges.
