Depot Days Pageant registration underway

The fourth annual Depot Days Pageant will be held Sat., Sept. 14, during Depot Days.

Applications are available at the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce, area merchants and online at www.hartsellechamber.org. The entry fee is $75. This includes participation in the pageant and all side events, including photogenic and a pageant T-shirt.

Girls will be divided into eight age categories, and boys will be divided into four age categories. Tiny Miss, Tiny Master, Little Miss and Little Master pageants will begin at 10 a.m. Petite, Teen and Miss pageants will be in the afternoon beginning at 2 p.m.

A king/queen and first and second alternates will be chosen from each group. Other awards include Best Smile, Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Eyes and Photogenic. The boy or girl with the highest overall points from his or her age group will be named the overall winner in their respective category, according to pageant co-chair Angela Hale.

Applications are due by 5 p.m. Tues., Sept. 3. No late entries will be accepted.
