HHS clubs collect toys for Christmas drive
The Hartselle High School Spanish Club and National Honors Society have been collecting toys and other items for a Christmas projects.
Specifically, the Spanish Club collected numerous toys for Shoeboxes for Guatemala, which is sponsored by Partners of the Americas.
Club officers include, from left, Brianna Wilson, Shelby Baker, Carly Greenhill, Lindsey Elmore, Tori Miller, Breanna Martin, Lyndsey Little, Nicholle Smith, Kayla Norwood and Heather Tilley.
The students collected the toys throughout the month of November. Some of the toys had already been sent to Calhoun Community College, which is a collection drop-off point for the program. This is the second year the school has participated in the program. About 280 shoeboxes were collected.
