Jackie Sparks age 67, of Hartselle died Fri., Oct. 12, 2012, at her residence.

The family received friends Sunday from 5-7 p.m. in the Welcome Center at Hartselle First Methodist Church.

She was born July 28, 1945 in Milwaukee, Wis., to Marge and Tom Howard. Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved sitting on her porch watching hummingbirds and planting sunflowers with her grandsons. Jackie was extremely funny, unselfish, kind and saw the best in every person she met. Her love and generosity will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Doug Sparks; a son, Tom Sparks and wife Leeann of Hartselle; a daughter: Hollie Trenary and husband Nick of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a sister, Sandy Ames and husband Lauren of Santa Fe, N.M.; four grandchildren, Harrison Sparks, 8, and Luke Sparks, 4, and Ethan Trenary, 6, and Tess Trenary, 2.
