Making pizza crusts
Dear Mom’s Corner,
You printed a recipe one time for pizza crust. It was delicious, but I’ve lost the recipe and was hoping you could re-print it, please.

Dear SWF,
Of course, I’d love to share the Pizza Crust recipe again! It’s super simple and the crusts will also freeze very well. This crust is pre-baked so toppings are not added until after the first baking time.
Pizza Crust
2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2-teaspoon sugar
3/4-cup warm water
2 tablespoons oil
1 package (or 1 tablespoon) yeast
Mix water, sugar and yeast in a measuring cup. Mix well. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add oil to water and add to flour mixture. Mix well, let stand 15 to 20 minutes.
Now you have a choice. You can make this into one big pizza or several smaller ones. I usually make several smaller ones.
Either way, pat the pizza crust to the size that you want and then bake for six to seven minutes in a 450-degree oven. I use a large cookie sheet and cook three or four personal size pizza crusts at the same time. To finish your pizzas, place the desired toppings on your crust and bake at 450 degrees for four to six minutes.
As I mentioned before, this crust is pre-baked so it is easy to make extra and either refrigerator or freeze them until ready for use.
When my kids were younger, before they had oven use privileges, they would microwave their pizzas for a quick snack. This recipe makes one large pizza or four to eight smaller ones depending on size.
