Dear Editor,

Hartselle High School is allowing students to take an additional class this school year by giving the option of taking the course prior to school’s beginning. This zero period is an excellent opportunity for students, and I have heard nothing but good things in regard to it from fellow classmates.

It has been a great asset to me personally because I am taking health before school. It is a course that is mandatory to have before graduation and, by taking it before school, it is allowing me time to take an additional class. This is giving me an immense benefit by providing an additional subject to learn about in my academic pursuits.
