Funeral for Billie R. Sandor, 78, of Hartselle will be Sat., Aug. 18, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Harold Fanning officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., Aug. 17, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sandor died on Wed., Aug. 15, 2012, at her residence. She was born Feb. 14, 1934, in Mississippi to Commie V. Reed and Henrietta Lunsford Reed. Mrs. Sandor was retired from an administrative position for the State of Alabama. She was a longtime member of Ninth Street Methodist Church of Decatur and was active in Methodist Missions. She was a wonderful christian example for her children. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Sandor; five sons, Albert John Sandor Jr. and wife Cindy, Allen Paul Sandor and wife Michelle, James Patrick Sandor and wife Liz, Michael Thomas Sandor and wife Melissa and William David Sandor and wife Melinda; a daughter, Susan Marie Sandor and husband Robert; a brother, Allen Reed; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
