John W. Bailey

Graveside service for John W. Bailey, 61, of Hartselle will be Sat., Aug. 11, at 2 p.m. at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Denzel Borden officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Garden. Visitation will be Sat., Aug.t 11, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Bailey died on Wed., Aug. 8, 2012, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born June 27, 1951, in Tennessee to James Bailey and Willie Dean Whitehead Bailey. Mr. Bailey was employed in management for the Kroger Company, Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Bailey of Hartselle; two sons, Patrick Thomas Bailey of Hartselle and Christopher Norman Bailey of Falkville; a daughter, April Leann Bailey of Hartselle; seven brothers, Bill Bailey, Eddie Hunt, Dennis Bailey, Terry Bailey, Donnie Bailey, Darrell Bailey and Gary Bailey, all of Tennessee; a sister, Gloria Bailey Farris of Tennessee; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Norman Bailey, Tyler Bailey, Jonathon Bailey, Patrick Bailey, Josh McClintock and Stacy Rey.
