Max David Scott

Funeral for Max David Scott, 63, of Hartselle will be Thur., Aug. 2, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Stanford officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thur., Aug. 2, 2012, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Scott died on Tues., July 31, 2012, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Oct. 2, 1948, in Hardin County, Tenn., to Robert Scott and Lillian Orr Scott. Mr. Scott enjoyed the Blueberry Farm and was a wonderful husband, a good daddy and a good “pop”! He loved the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jimmy Scott.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Scott of Hartselle; a son, Jacob Scott and wife Val of Hartselle; a daughter, Samantha Buckner and husband Shawn of Hartselle; a brother, Johnny Scott of Jackson; four sisters, Sue Jaco of Summertown, Tenn., Betty Harwell of Milledgeville, Tenn., Cathy Gant of Collierville, Tenn. and Linda Adkinson, Wildersville, Tenn.; six surviving grandchildren, Will Dudley, Austin Dudley, Ethen Buckner, Bailey Buckner, Gabe Scott and Eli Scott.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Wood, Chris Patterson, Lonnie Russell, Jimmy Wood, Jay King, Ferris White, Jay Patterson and Danny Slaten.
