Funeral service for Gladys O. Wiley, 77, of Hartselle will be Tues., June 19, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry DeBell and Bro. Tonyn Riley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Mon., June 18, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wiley died on Sun., June 17, 2012, at her residence. She was born July 14, 1934, in Etowah County to Lillian Austell Owens and Dessie Bell Isbell Owens. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church since 1968 and loved the Lord. She loved her family and doted on her grandson. She and her sisters are extremely close and took a “sisters” trip every year for over 25 years. She was formerly employed at Redstone Arsenal as a secretary and was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister: Jeanette O Wiley.

She is survived by her husband, Samie A. Wiley of Hartselle; a son, Alan Wiley and wife Benita of Decatur; a daughter, Sheila W, Halbrooks and husband Lemuel of Hartselle; three sisters, Mavis O. Snell of Franklin, Wisc., and Lillian Ann Roberts and Myra O. Vinzant, both of Hartselle; a surviving grandchild, Seth Wiley of Hartselle.

Pallbearers will be Seth Wiley, Steve Wiley, Paul Wiley, Jeff Roberts, Danny Wiley and Alan Taylor.
