Terry receives Homebuilders Foundation scholarship

A student from Hartselle is one of the recipients of a scholarship from the Alabama Homebuilders Foundation this year.

Christopher Allan Terry Jr. received a scholarship to study drafting and design technology at Calhoun Community College-Decatur. He is the son of Christopher and Crystal Terry.

The Alabama Homebuilders Foundation scholarship program was created in order to help alleviate the qualified labor shortage. To apply for an Alabama Homebuilders Foundation scholarship, you must be a resident of Alabama, enrolled in, or attending a junior college, technical school or university in Alabama and you must be enrolled in a construction related curriculum.

Examples of such include brick masonry, carpentry, cabinet making and plumbing. For more information, contact Debbie Baxley at the HBAA at 334-834-3006 or 1-800-745-4222 or go online at www.ahbfoundation.org.
