Funeral for Cheryl Ann Johnson Kaszmetskie, 56, of Somerville was Fri., April 20, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jimmy Hamaker and Jerry Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Kaszmetskie died Tues., April 17, 2012, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born April 28, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Raymond C. Johnson and Effie Lee Walker Johnson. She was a member of Riverside Cathedral in Decatur and Joppa Church of God.

She is survived by her husband, Forrest Tim Kaszmetskie of Somerville; a son, Timothy Shawn Kaszmetskie and wife Dana of Brookwoood; a daughter, Rebecca Amy Childers and husband Barry of Florence; her parents, Ray and Effie Johnson of Decatur; a brother, Bryan Johnson and wife Belinda of Hartselle; two sisters, Michele Borden and husband Daris of Decatur and Judy Melillo and husband Jim of Medina, Ohio; two grandchildren, Hayden Kaszmetskie and Madelynn Childers; five nephews, five nieces; three great- nephews; and three great-nieces.

Pallbearers were Barry Childers, Daris Borden, Christopher Shaffer, Jim Melillo, Joshua Johnson and Jeremiah Johnson.

Jason Metz was an honorary pallbearer.
