Funeral service for Billy Ray Ramey, 76, will be Sat., March 17, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Charlie Cain.

Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Fri., March 16, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Ramey died on Tue., March 13, 2012, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born June 1, 1935, in Lawrence County to William E. Ramey and Bessie Mae (Crow) Ramey, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by two sons, Ray Ramey and Jarrett K. Ramey, both of Hartselle; a brother, William Eric Ramey of Montgomery; four granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
