Alzheimers terrible disease
Can you imagine waking up everyday not knowing where you are much less who your are. That’s what the disease Alzheimer’s will do to you. An estimated one out of 10 people over age 65 are affected by this disease. Some of the symptoms of this disease are memory loss, changes in mood and behavior, misplacing things, disorientation to time and place, and changes in personality. Please keep in mind that these symptoms do not always mean your loved one has Alzheimers. Only a doctor can diagnose that. There is no cure for this disease but there are several medications available for the patient to try. Also there are many support groups available for the caregivers.
