Dewey Hopper

Funeral for Dewey Hopper, 89, was Sun., Jan. 22, at 3:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ball officiating.

Burial was in Bell Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Hopper died Sat., Jan. 21, 2012, at River City Care And Rehab.  He was born December 8, 1922, in Cullman County to Grady and Limmer (Clayton) Hopper. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Hopper and his parents.

He is survived by a brother, Alford Hopper of Decatur; and three nieces, Cathy Freeman of Hartselle and Connie Childers and Theresa Guire, both of Decatur.

Pallbearers were Barry Childers, James Watson, Jim Smith, Buddy Hill, Stephen Morgan and James Sieglock.
