Cotaco takes girls county title

Cotaco defeated Danville Middle 30-28 to win the Morgan County Girls Basketball Tournament on Saturday at Brewer.

Tamera Chatman led the way for the Lady Indians with 14 points, followed by Sarah Clark with 7, Taylor Ledbetter with 4, Bailey Watkins with 2, Morgan Stinson with 2 and Carlee Landers with 1.

Danville was led by Jada Harris with 6 points followed by Makayla Stover with 5, Tabetha Hutto with 5, Tara Tuck with 5, Morgan Weatherwax with 3, Jade Atchley with 2 and Macy Lee Beth with 2.
