Woman injured in 2-vehicle crash

A young woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash that flipped an older model Ford truck at the intersection of West Chestnut Street and Corsbie Street about 2:30 p.m. Monday.

The injured woman was the driver of the Ford truck. She was transported to the hospital. Her identity or her condition was not immediately available.

The truck was crossing West Chestnut Street on Corsbie headed south when it and a Ford Fusion traveling east on West Chestnut Street collided. The truck hit the curb and rolled over while the car went over the curb and came to rest in a flowerbed a few feet in front of a garden home.

The other driver was transported to the hospital in a personal vehicle following the crash.
