Funeral for Tommie Butler, 76, of Somerville will be Thur., Jan. 5, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dewitt Crowe and Steve Pilkington officiating.

Visitation will be Wed. (today), Jan. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Butler died Tue., Jan. 3, 2012, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Nov. 21, 1935, in Morgan County to George Curbow and Pearl Mae Crowe Curbow. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a bus driver for the Morgan County Board of Education. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley Butler of Somerville; two sons, Timothy Butler and wife Karen and Charles Butler and wife Carol, both of Somerville; a brother, Barry Curbow of Somerville, 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Butler, Jonathon Mayes, Josh Mayes, Dan Breeding, Johnny Breeding and Daniel Curbow.
