Funeral for Nora O’Neill, 90, of Somerville will be Fri., Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Holt officiating.

Visitation will be Thur., Jan. 5, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the historic Somerville Cemetery.

Mrs. O’Neill died Tues., Jan. 3, 2012, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Dec. 24, 1921, in Illinois to Gyisippe Ianatello and Marionane Rivituso Ianatello. Her love of family was shown daily. She was an independent person, enjoyed being around pets, liked sunning on the deck, watching the birds eat, and these things we will remember.

She is survived by a son, Thomas Lawson of Mesa, Ariz; two daughters, Joanne Brooks of Somerville and Diane Kovacic of Roseville, Calif; a sister, Josephine Malavolti of Pekin, Ill; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchidren.
