Funeral for Joyce Lynn Atchley, 53, of Decatur will be Sat., Dec. 31, at 1 p. m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ben Bates officiating.

Visitation will be Sat., Dec. 31, from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.

Mrs. Atchley died Wed., Dec. 28, 2011, at her residence after battling cancer and other health problems. She was born Aug. 21, 1958, in Morgan County to Toley D. Wilborn and Wilma Irene Kirby Wilborn. She was raised in Hartselle and lived in and around Hartselle all of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Christopher Dee Dunn, who was killed in the April 27, 2011, tornado; and a brother, Frank Wilborn.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Wade Atchley of Decatur; a son, Jamie Dunn and wife Tabatha Harper of Decatur; three sisters, Marlene Belcher and husband Dale of Hartselle, Janice Lucker and husband Jackie of Lawrence County; and Wilma Richards and husband Larry of Dallas, PA; and a grandson, Christopher Wade Dunn.

Pallbearers will be Steve Smith, Joe Smith, Sean Luker, Dale Belcher, Jason Luker and John Foot.
