Jobless rate moving down

Morgan County got a nice present heading into Christmas this year. The unemployment rate has dropped to its lowest level in nearly two years.
In November, only 7.5 percent of the county’s workforce was out of a job. That’s down from 8.3 percent in October and from 9.0 in November 2011.
Things are moving in the right direction and we hope this is a trend that will continue throughout 2012.
