Funeral for Joyce Jacquelyn Hawkins Guyse, 85, of Hartselle will be Wed., Dec. 7, at First Baptist Church in Decatur with the Revs. Roger Jenkins, Michael Gentry and Bill Hurt officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Wed., Dec. 7, from noon to 2 p.m. at the church.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Guyse died Sun., Dec. 4, 2011, at her residence. She was born June 20, 1926, in Morgan County to Calvin R. Hawkins and Zora D. Hawkins. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Decatur and was employed for many years as a receptionist for Dr. William Walker in Decatur. She was a volunteer for Hospice and Meals on Wheels.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Bonnie Jean Hindes.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years Roland Guyse of Hartselle and a large number of nieces, great-nephews and nieces and great-great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Carl Winsett, Scott Speegle, Michael Speegle, Jack Standridge, Carrell Livingston and Brian Taylor.
