Funeral service for Iris Jane Chunn Brown, 84, will be Sat., Dec. 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Valhermoso First Christian Church with Pastor Mickey Johnson officiating.

The body will lie in state for 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Valhermoso Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., Dec. 2, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brown died on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at a residence. She was born June 17, 1927, in Morgan County to Escomb Chunn and Lillian (Sanders) Chunn. She was preceded in death by a son: Roger Brown and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Boyd Brown of Valhermoso Springs; a daughter-in-law, Jan Brown of Decatur; a grandson: Nathan Brown of Decatur; two brothers; and four sisters.
