Pine cones make beautiful Christmas decorations

Recycle beads that you no longer wear into making garland to put on your Christmas tree. Put the beads on some string and put them on the tree.

Cranberry Salad

2 cups cranberries

2 oranges

1 cup sugar

1 pkg. lemon gelatin

1 cup boiling water

Grind cranberries and oranges in food processor, add sugar. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add to cranberry mixture until firm. Makes 6 servings.

Fruit Salad

1 can fruit cocktail

1 pkg. lemon gelatin

1 cup boiling water

1 cup cold water

1 cup Cool Whip

Dissolve fruit cocktail in boiling water, add cold water, add cool whip and mix well until dissolved.

Pineapple Pudding

1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding

1 can pineapple chunks

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

Make pudding according to directions on package, mix pineapple and cracker crumbs and add to pudding.

Christmas Ice

To make colorful ice for Christmas, use Christmas molds to make the ice, such as bells, Santa and Christmas trees. Use cranberry juice or any other red juice to make the bells and Santas, and green juice to make the trees. This ice is very pretty to use in your holiday drinks. These molds can also be used to make salads in.

Christmas tree ice

Use a Christmas tree cake pan to make ice and use it in a punch bowl.

Pine cone decorations

Spray paint pine cones gold and silver or any color you’d like. Place these pine cones in colorful baskets and tie a ribbon onto the basket. Use these as centerpieces on the table or place near the door.

Grape Punch

1 bottle grape juice

1 bottle ginger ale

1 carton vanilla ice cream

Combine juice and ginger ale and add ice cream. Stir until ice cream is melted.
