Bethel JV splits week’s games, varsity loses 2

Bethel’s JV boys notched another win downing Cornerstone Christian 50-36, improving the team’s record to 5-0.

Bethel was led in scoring by Andrew Dodd and Isaac Bunner both with 14. Mitchell Gamble added 12 followed by Shawn Metzgar with 6 and Sam Murphy with 4. Cornerstone was led in scoring by Christian Lewis with 13 and John Matthews with 10.

Bethel’s varsity boys was overwhelmed in a 59-33 loss to Cornerstone Christian. Bethel was led in scoring by Clint Chisgar with 10 followed by Mitchell Gamble with 6, Isaac Bunner with 6, Andrew Dodd with 6, Cole Schmidt with 3 and Tyler Lawrence with 2. Cornerstone was led in scoring by David Clark with 13, Aaron Rogers with 10 and Matthew Clark with 12.

Bethel’s JV (5-1) suffered its first lost of the season to Brooklane Christian 40-38. Bethel was led in scoring by Mitchell Gamble with 17 followed by Isaac Bunner with 8, Shawn Metzger with 6, Andrew Dodd with 5 and Sam Murphy with 2

Bethel’s Varsity (1-4) lost another close one to Brooklane Christian 38-34.

Bethel was led in scoring by Mitchell Gamble with 14, followed by Clint Chisgar with 12, Andrew Dodd with 6 and Tyler Lawrence with 2.
