John ‘Junior’ Jesse Chenault

Funeral for John  “Junior” Jesse Chenault, 81, will be Wed., Nov. 16, at 1 p.m at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tom Salter officiating.

Visitation will be Wed., Nov. 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Chenault died Sun., Nov. 13, 2011, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Dec. 16, 1929, in Lawrence County to Jesse Annual Chenault and Elizabeth Day Swindle Chenault. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired with 48 years of service in the heating and air conditioning business. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Dean Long Chenault of Hartselle; a son, Michael Lynn Chenault an wife Sherry of Hartselle; a brother, Chester Chenault of Decatur; two sisters, Thelma Sandlin of Hartselle and Bea Johnson of Morgan Beach; and two surviving grandchildren, Wes Chenault and Easton Chenault, both of Hartselle.

Pallbearers were Wes Chenault, Easton Chenault, Tim Roberts, Jeff Chenault, Jerry Chenault, Jimmy Chenault and Larry Fields.
