Project 11 set for Friday

The Hartselle Fine Arts Center is sponsoring its Project 11 fundraiser Friday to help pay for a new handicap accessible ramp and elevator.

The center’s board of directors is asking as many people as possible to give at least $11 by Nov. 11 of this year. The price tag on the elevator and ramp will be at least $350,000.

“We understand that people are facing financial difficulties,” HFAC director Kelley Redmond said in a previous story. “We’re just asking everyone to give $11 by 11/11/11. Some can do more than that, but others may not. But we thought that $11 was probably something that everyone could give.”

Donations can be dropped off at the center or at the Hartselle Enquirer office or can be mailed to Hartselle Fine Arts Center, 307 College St. NE, Hartselle, AL 35640.
