Funeral for Tom Moebes Sr., 87, will be Sat., Oct. 29, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Sat., Oct. 29, from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Moebes died Fri., Oct. 21, 2011 at his residence.  He was born Nov. 22, 1923, in Morgan County to Thomas Benjamin Moebes and Mattie Lipscomb Moebes. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War and was an Engineer for NASA. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by three sons, Tom Moebes of Spring Hill, Tenn., and Joe Moebes and Bob Moebes, both of Priceville; three daughters, Sue Jewellson of Priceville, Frances Mitchell of Montgomery and Donna Treadway of Trinity; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
