Funeral for Ashleigh Carrie Owens, 20, of Decatur will be Tues., Oct. 11, at 3:30 p.m. at Priceville Church of Christ with Phillip Hines and Mike Rhodes officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Mon., Oct. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Owens died Fri., Oct. 7, 2011, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born May 26, 1991, in Morgan County to Karey Franklin Owens and Olga Leticia Barrera Guzman. She was a 2009 graduate of Priceville High School and was attending Calhoun Community College. She was a huge Alabama fan.

She is survived by her father, Karey Owens of Priceville; her mother, Olga Leticia Guzman of Athens; a sister, Alexandria Owens of Priceville; and her grandparents, John and Betty Owens of Priceville and Glberto and Adelaida Barrera, all of Priceville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to MDA.
