West Morgan running back Antonio Little ran for 123 yards and three first half touchdowns as the Rebels defeated the Danville Hawks by a score of 53-13 last Friday night at Smith-Owens Stadium.

Little scored on runs of 8, 50 and 18 yards, helping the Rebels to a 33-0 halftime lead.

The West Morgan defense got the game’s first score when Jonathan Tucker picked up a Danville fumble and raced 14 yards into the end zone.

Rebel quarterback Grant Workman connected with Raymond Hall for a 34-yard touchdown pass to end the first half scoring.

The 3rd quarter saw West Morgan score once on a 6-yard Workman to Zach Holbert pass. Robbie Binkley kicked his fourth PAT of the game to extend the Rebel lead to 40-0.

The two teams traded touchdowns in the final period. West Morgan scored on a 21- yard run by Tucker. The kick failed giving the Rebels a 46-0 lead.

Danville’s Riley Self accounted for both Hawk touchdowns. His first came on a 31- yard run.

Self and Justin Morgan later hooked up on a 52-yard pass to end the scoring. In between, Rodney Young caught a 24-yard pass from Sam Hughes for West Morgan’s final points of the night.

With the loss, Danville falls to 1-5 on the year and 0-4 in the region. West Morgan is now 2-4 on the year and 1-3 in region play.

Danville will travel to Limestone County tomorrow night to face the Elkmont Red Devils. Game time is 7 p.m.
