Funeral for Billy Hammack, 71, of Somerville will be Fri., Sept. 30, at 1 p.m. at Center Springs United Methodist Church in Somerville with the Rev. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Fri., Sept. 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Center Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Hammack died Tues., Sept. 27, 2011, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Aug. 18, 1940, in Morgan County to Elbert Hammack and Odessa Gertrude Carter Hammack. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hammack and his parents.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda Ramey of Sylacauga; two brothers, Lonnie Hammack of Decatur and W. C. Hammack of Albertville; and a sister, Nita McClaine of Somerville.

Pallbearers were family members and friends.
