Funeral for Clyde Winston Young, 83, of Hartselle will be Fri., Sept. 23, at 2 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home in Cullman.

Visitation will be Thur., Sept. 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Emeus Cemetery.

Mr. Young died Sun., Sept. 18, 2011, at his residence. He was born Jan. 16, 1928, to AsaFa and Ada Young. He was a retired factory worker. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, David Young, a stepson, Denver Barker, a sister, Ruth Young, and four brothers, Paul, Flyode, Vergil and Earl Young.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Lois Fraley Young of Hartselle; a son, Eddie Hoots Young of Amory, Miss.; a stepson, Robert “Robby” Barker and wife Candy of Tennessee; two daughters, Wanda Ribinson and husband Tom of Vinemont and Linda Pate and husband Brad of Beach Park, Ill.; a stepdaugher, Lynndell Middleton and husband Greg of Richland, Ind.; a sister, Vernie Mae Parish of North Carolina; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces nephews and friends.
