Ryan joins in Can-A-Thon

Ryan News

No school Nov. 11 in honor of Veterans’ Day.
We kicked off our Alabama vs. Auburn Penny Drive this week. It will run through the whole month and will end the week before we get out for Christmas! The class that collects the most change will win a surprise like an ice cream or popsicle party.
A traditional Thanksgiving meal will be served Nov. 18.
You are cordially invited to join us for the meal.  Cost is $3.50 per plate and please note that due to cost of carry out packages no carry out orders will be available.
The kids will love having you eat with them, and we look forward to seeing you.
A Can-A-Thon is being sponsored by Mrs. Ransom and the Ryan Junior High School Beta Club.
Can-A-Thon is a canned food drive that provides food to local agencies in Morgan County to help people in our community.
WAFF48 will collect the cans at the Decatur Mall in December, so bring some canned food items to your homeroom teacher before Dec. 1.
The homeroom with the most cans donated will win a treat!
As you begin planning your holiday menus and goodies, please be sure to save and send your Campbell’s soup labels and box tops for education.  They really add up and help the school.
