Massey School reunion set

Plans have been made for a Massey School Reunion (Morgan County) Oct. 30 from 2-5 p.m.  The reunion will be held at the Massey Fire Station/Community Center, 386 Evergreen Road.
All who were associated with the Massey School (students, teachers, lunchroom ladies) are invited to attend along with anyone who might be interested in Massey School and the Massey Community.
The school was first opened as a one-room school in 1907 behind Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and then two more rooms were added. In 1936 the new Massey School was built and continued to operate until 1969.
Refreshments will be provided.  Bring copies of any photos or memorabilia from your years of attending Massey School that you would like to leave and share with attendees.
For additional information, contact Frances Vest Rowe 462-3875
