Funeral for Vivian Chambers, 84, of Decatur was Friday, October 1, at 1 p.m. at Fairview Baptist in Decatur with Dr. Chester Carr officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Chambers died Wednesday, Septemer 29, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born April 16, 1926, in Cullman County to Casper Speegle and Effie Phillips Speegle. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Chambers; a son, Bill Casey; a stepson, Travis Chambers; a stepdaughter, Kim Chambers; and two grandchildren, Bobby and Justin Casey.
She is survived by three sons, Ken Casey and wife Kathy of Madison, Ron Casey and wife Laurie and Don Casey and wife Jo Anne, all of Decatur; four stepsons, Coyse Chambers, Carlos Chambers, Vent Chambers and Kent Chambers, all of Eva; two stepdaughters, Brenda Chambers and Linda Spratlin, both of Eva; a brother, Jimmy Speegle and wife Sharon of Decatur; two sisters, Glenda Jackson of Boaz and Sue Smith and husband Carlton of Pinson; 21 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
