Area students among leadership graduates

Twenty Youth from the Limestone County and Morgan County Youth Leadership Career Development Program completed their requirements and graduated Aug. 28. This program was coordinated through the Alabama Cooperative Extension System in Limestone and Morgan Counties and was funded through Rural Alabama Initiative Funds and through a grant through the Alabama Mountains, Rivers and Valleys RC&D Council.
This group was chosen from students in Limestone and Morgan County who have career and/or educational interests in some field of agriculture or family and consumer sciences. In addition to intensive leadership training, the group took three trips throughout Alabama, exploring venues related to agriculture, business, education, and research.
