Funeral for Brenda C. Maxwell Lemmond Estes, 62, was Sunday, Aug.  1, at 2 p.m. at Center Springs United Methodist Church with Johnny Maxwell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Center Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Estes died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital.
She was born Feb. 28, 1948, in Morgan County to Morrell Ciegel Maxwell and Dorthay Pauline Maxwell. She was a member of Natures Trail Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jerry D. Lemmond.
She is survived by her husband, Larrry Wayne Estes of Somerville; a son, David M. Lemmond of Somerville; a daughter, Tanya Lemmond Lawrence of Somerville; a step-son, Steven B. Estes of Somerville; two brothers, Morrell Dwight Maxwell and William Conley Maxwell, both of Somerville; two grandchildren; a stepgrandchild and a stepgreat-grandchild.
Pallbearers were John Maxwell, John Cook, Anthony Maxwell, James Maxwell, Johnny Hamilton and Jerry Hamilton.
