CERT training sessions offered

County Emergency Management Agency is offering free CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training for Morgan County residents. Training sessions will take place May 16, 30 and June 13. Each session will convene at the Hospice of the Valley at 240 Johnston Street SW from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The June 27 session will be the final drill and graduation and will meet at Decatur Fire and Rescue at 6 p.m.
All classes are free and participants should bring their own lunch.
CERT offers emergency and disaster training, including treating basic medical emergencies, search for and rescue victims safely and organize volunteers. Call Marsha Hill at 355-8628 or mhill@vcomo.org to register.
